Is Reading about to make property investors millions...

Could Reading be the new hotspot for investors? 

According to Matt, property prices have remained steady since 2016 but now offer a fantastic yield, even more so with rental prices increasing year on year...much quicker than the pace of sales, so could this mean we’re in for a price hike? 

Reading has so much to offer; including easy access to the M4 motorway, a university, a hospital, a multitude of business parks, an array of great shops, bars & restaurants and of course, the new Queen Elizabeth Line, which reduces travel time to the city substantially.

The only big-ticket items this town doesn't offer is a beach, a Premier league football team and City Status, which Matt seemed hard done by...but if two of the three were to happen in the coming years, what would this mean for prices locally? 

This week we sit down with Matt Barrell, also known all over socials as @TheReadingAgent, to discuss the good, the bad and the ugly on why Reading might be a good place to look when investing.
